Q 4 Finishes!

Wow!
If I do say so myself, I kicked some butt this quarter!

Here are my finishes:

1.  This pile of t-shirts became
two large quilts:

2.  Cardinal Winter Quilt

3.  Blue quilt for Maxine

4.  Three Little Words
Cross Stitch complete, framed and hanging!

5.  It takes a village was certainly neglected
this entire year!

This will certainly be a priority in 2018!

The best part of being a part of this
is that goals are set with an easy to
follow plan for the quarter.

I get so much done!

On to a guilt-free December
and 2018!

Peace to all,
Laura

My first month with the
OMG challenge is a success!

Finish Along: Q4

With the flood in my sewing room among other things....

I certainly dropped the bomb on Q2 and Q3 Finish Along.

It's all okay!

We have a new baby, so life is certainly good.

And...I won 2 patterns from Q1 Finish Along.

Much incentive to finish the year out!

Here's a list of my Q4 Finish Along Goals:

1.  T-shirt Quilt(s)

2.  Cardinal Winter Quilt for Mom (christmas)

3.  Blue Quilt for Maxine (christmas)

4.  Three Little Words Cross stitch
I've got a long ways to go on this one!

5.  It takes a Village (ongoing)

I know, it's aggressive.  But I really need to push myself!

Peace to all,

Laura

OMG: October

So....I found another cool linky party.

They have monthly giveaways too!

One Monthly Goal.

Sweet and simple.

Here's my October goal:

To take this pile of t-shirts that my beautiful
niece Celeste dumped on me before
her move to Chicago in 2016 to make quilt.

I've sort of rummaged through them, organizing a bit
and it looks as if it may actually be
two quilt.
:)

Peace to all,
Laura

We have a baby!

Henry Michael
was welcomed into this world on
September 6, 2017.

It's been a busy month!  We've been enjoying this precious gift.

Peace to all,
Laura

Busy Summer

UGH!

I am such a slacker!
Probably, in part, due to the fact that a pipe burst in June
flooding my sewing room.

Most everything is still boxed up, since the repairs have not yet been completed!

However, in my make-shift living room/sewing room,
I've managed to complete two new baby quilts
for my daughter, Jessica who is
expecting her first child, a baby boy, in September:

I've also completed some Stash Bee blocks:

And do.good stitches blocks:

Hoping to have my creative space back together before that new baby comes!

Peace to all,

Laura
